Callaloo Caribbean Restaurant & Bar in Punta Gorda

On Alligator Creek in Punta Gorda. Off the beaten path. But worth it. Food was good. View was excellent. Almost all tables overlook the water. Go early so you can enjoy the view.

This place is a little hard to describe. It's very nice on the inside, the boat dining is really cool. Just dock your boat next to the restaurant and come in and dine. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. Now if you drive there, unfortunately the scene is a little different. Very unsightly, the main street to the place has holes and fills with water. This restaurant is located off the beaten path. At first you wonder where the heck is this place. It's right across from a boat dock which all the boats look in disrepair. But once you get on the inside, its a whole different wonderful view. The owner was very kind and engaging. So if you'rel ooking for a hidden diamond in the rough. This is the place.
